Cranes in Circle Origami Earringsby ~dragonawakener

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry / Earrings & Piercings

Cranes made from paper cut to 3/4" squares inside a wire circle with cranes in a lighter shade of the same color made from paper cut to 1" squares hanging underneath. Paper treated with a water repellent.

Does the spray you put on them work well? I've tried so many different things, but I've found that actually submerging them in a water repellent seems to work best.

Just out of curiosity what's the size you cut your paper to? It looks like maybe 2 inches or an inch and a half? I usually try to mention how small the paper is. It seems to be part of what impresses buyers. I always get the comment "Oh, I could never do anything that small!"

i know! people always say that about mine! my spray works okay, and so far i haven't had any complaints about torn or soggy earrings, so i assume its working. i sell mine for $5 a pair, how about you? and BTW my paper is 1.5 x 1.5 inches.

The only ones I have for sale right now that have cranes are these and my tiered crane earrings, and I sell both kinds in six colors for $10. For these, the crane hanging below is made from 1 inch squares, and the one inside the wire circle is made from 3/4" squares. My tiered crane earrings have a 1" crane, a 3/4" crane and a 1/2" crane.
